The Double Dipsea Race is a hard half marathon-ish course and my favorite trail in California. I have been working with Cristina for the last couple of months to get her ready to not only completing it, but doing it without knee pain which was one of her major issues with downhills and climbs.
Working with Cris has been a pleasure, she stuck to her training program, followed her racing and fueling strategy and finished strong. Above everything, she enjoyed the race and had fun which was my last recommendation prior to race time aside from trusting her training. She loved the course and she is already planning on racing it again next year!
